Chairman & Managing Director

Mr. Gaus U Khan, Group Chairman & Managing Director and founder of ASSURANCEMONI Group, started his business career with a single printing machine in New Paltan back in 1979. His entrepreneurial aptitude fostered by vision, honesty, commitment, transparent transactions, excellent customer service & ethical business practice, earned him reputation & credibility within a considerable short tenure and subsequently Mr. Khan maneuvered and successfully diversified his business operation to RMG, Real Estate, CNG Refueling & Furniture. Currently the Group employs over 7,500 people in its 12 (twelve) concerns in Bangladesh.

With Quality Service & Customer Satisfaction, every single concern of the Group has been able to make a bright mark within the industry they operate. Despite the global economic recession in recent times and   different local tribulations, all his business units are operating smoothly because of his operational efficiency & prudence. His business aspiration has always been to create & retain customers.

Honored with the 'Commercially Important Person' (CIP) Award and earning various accolades and recognition both nationally & internationally, Gaus U Khan is not only a major industrialist of the     country, but also a concerned and generous human being in our community. Through various social welfare and social awareness programs, he has always been by the side of the destitute and helpless people during any climatic hazards, providing relief to poor people and distributing cloths during severe winters and floods. He is also regular financial patronize for a number of Schools, Colleges, Madrasas and Mosques in his locality.

Rezina Gaus
Vice Chairman

Ms. Rezina Gaus, Vice Chairman of ASSURANCEMONI Group, completed her Graduation in Economics from Dhaka University. Gaus U Khan married her in 1983. Starting from the first business visit in      England for buying “Linotype” Photocompose machine in 1987, she has accompanied Mr. Khan in many of his major business visits both at home & abroad. After establishing Moni Sweater in 1993, Mr Khan received all-out cooperation from Mrs. Gaus who, by virtue of her     sincere effort & talent, ensured successful participation and exhibition of garment products not only in largest local RMG Fair “BATEXPO” but also in many international fairs in Europe, Germany, UK, Netherlands, Switzerland & France. The events provided an opportunity to interact and share views with a number of buyers & suppliers of the Garments Industry which significantly contributed to the flourishing of Group’s business.

As Vice Chairman, Ms. Gaus is looking after financial affairs of the Group, involved in Policy formulation & implementation and monitoring the work of Interior Design Department of ASSURANCE Developments Ltd. She regularly visits the construction sites & ensures completion of work as per clients’ requirement. She is also actively involved with the social and cultural events of the Group. 

In her personal life Ms. Gaus is a proud mother of five sons and also an ideal housewife who successfully takes care of her family.

Amzad Hossain 
Executive Director

Amzad Hossain, Executive Director of ASSURANCE Developments Ltd., completed his Masters from Dhaka University . He joined ASSURANCEMONI Group in 2001 as Executive Director and after commencement of ASSURANCE Developments Ltd., the has been placed at the Company in the same capacity. Before joining the Company, he served at Grameen Bank for twelve years. At   present, he is supervising Accounts & Finance Department,   Procurement Department and Estate Management & Logistics Department of the Company.
