Finance and Accounts

  • The Finance Department provides support services as under:
  • Manages banking facilities at the minimum cost and at the required time
  • Develops, implements and maintains an effective system of budgetary control and MIS
  • Maintains financial accounting records in line with International Accounting standards and ensures timely and effective presentation to Board
  • Makes and receives all payments including in cash and for salaries, in line with procedures and authority limits
  • Ensures compliance with statutory requirements pertaining to accounting, taxation, banking and Capital Market Authority
  • Arranges adequate insurance coverage for the Group insurable risks at minimum costs
  • Initiates/participates in evolving authority limits & procedures and documenting the same
  • Supports effective asset management
  • Maintains a system of credit control & receivables management in the trading activities
  • Advises the international principals/ partners on structuring, banking, insurance and taxation matters
